Thanksgiving Break

Our school will be closed next week from November 22-26 for the Thanksgiving Break. Classes resume on Monday, November 29.

Our Virtual Family Learning Night is happening in 2 weeks!

Please save the date on your calendar for the evening of Tuesday, November 16. Before the event, we will send a choice board via Parent Square with 6 fun activities that you can do as a family, plus a Flipgrid link where students can post their activities. This is going to be fun ​event, don't miss it!

Students do not have school on Monday, November 1. This is a Rowland Unified teacher training day for all TK-6 schools in RUSD.

Red Ribbon Week 2021

Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug-abuse prevention campaign in the nation. Since 1985, the mission of the Red Ribbon Campaign has been to support our nation’s families and communities in nurturing the full potential of healthy, drug free youth.

Join us in teaching students to "Be Happy, Be Brave, and Be Drug Free."

We will also have Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days every day next week. See the flyer for details.

Unity Day, Oct 20

Unity Day is Tuesday, Oct 20. Wear and share orange to show that we are together against bullying, and united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

Bully Prevention Spirit Days

Join us on our upcoming Spirit Wednesdays Bully Prevention Campaign. Participating helps show how we are all United Against Bullying at Rowland Elementary.

National Bully Prevention Month

October is National Bully Prevention Month. Our goal is teaching students about ways to address bullying as well as raise awareness and action against bullying all year long.

We have also scheduled the Kids for Kindness Bully Prevention virtual assembly for Oct 5. This assembly will teach kids about preventing bullying and reinforce the bully prevention instruction we do at school.
